Cybercrimes Act (19/2020): SAPS SOP – Invitation for public comments
The Minister of Police has published for comment draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) dealing with the investigating, search, access or seizure of articles pursuant to the Cybercrimes Act, 19 of 2020. Government Gazette 47021 dated 15 July 2022 containing the notice and the draft SOPs appears on the LSSA’s website. Practitioners are welcome to send their comments to kris@lssa.org.za before 11 August 2022, or directly to the SA Police Service by 15 August 2022.
