Change in LSSA Vice-President

Mabaeng Denise Lenyai has been elected as the new Vice-President of the LSSA. Ms Lenyai was deployed by the Black Lawyers Association.

Ms Lenyai is an attorney and director at Mabaeng Lenyai Inc in Pretoria. She holds the BProc and LLB degrees from the University of the North and the University of Natal respectively and has attended the Judicial Skills Training course.

Ms Lenyai was admitted as an attorney in 1998 and is also a notary and conveyancer. She represents the BLA in the LSSA’s House of Constituents (former Council) since 2015. She was also the Chairperson of the Black Lawyers Association (BLA), North West branch for four years and, since last year, is a member of the National Executive Council of the BLA, where she heads its events and campaigns. She is also a council member of the Community Education Training Centre in Mmakau and a legal advisor for Motsweding FM.

The other Vice-President of the LSSA is Jan van Rensburg and Mvuzo Notyesi is the President.
